Roadside Assistance in Surrey
The furthest city we cover and by far the largest. Whalley and Guildford sit at the quick end, a little under an hour on a clear run. Cloverdale and South Surrey are at the top of the range. One number for a city that takes forty minutes to drive across would be meaningless, so we give you a time for where you actually are.
Which bridge, and which Surrey
The crossings are not interchangeable. The Port Mann on Highway 1 is the fast route to Whalley, Guildford and Fleetwood. The stal̓əw̓asəm Bridge out of New Westminster, which replaced the Pattullo in February 2026, is shorter in distance and drops you into Whalley at the north end. The Alex Fraser via Marine Way serves Newton, Cloverdale and anything heading toward South Surrey.
Which one we take depends entirely on where you are, and getting that right is most of the difference between a sixty minute arrival and a ninety minute one. So when you call, a neighbourhood name is far more useful than a street address alone. Guildford and Cloverdale are both Surrey and they are a very long way apart.
North Surrey and Whalley
The City Centre area around Surrey Central and King George has densified fast, with towers, student housing for SFU Surrey, and large surface lots. The mix of calls reflects that: parkade boosts, lockouts at transit lots, and a good number of cars that have been left in a park and ride all day and will not start at six in the evening.
Guildford, with the mall and the surrounding residential grid, is similar and is one of the quicker parts of the city for us because it sits right off the Highway 1 exit.
Newton, Fleetwood and Cloverdale
Mostly detached housing, wide roads and long distances between things. Street and driveway parking rather than parkades, so the pattern leans toward winter batteries and flat tires rather than underground boost calls. Fleetwood sits in the middle of the city and is a reasonable run. Cloverdale is a long way from us and we will say so.
The agricultural land through the middle and east of Surrey adds a particular kind of call. Gravel shoulders, soft verges and farm access roads produce winch out work, especially after a wet spell when the ground beside the pavement will not hold a wheel.
South Surrey
The far end. Morgan Creek, Grandview Heights, Crescent Beach and the areas toward the border are the longest emergency runs we make, and there are operators based a great deal closer to you. If you are stranded down there at night, call one of them first.
Booked work is a different matter entirely. A wash or a detail is scheduled, so distance is just a routing question, and South Surrey has exactly the kind of large driveways that make a full detail easy to do well.
Highway 1 and Highway 17
The Highway 1 corridor through Surrey, and Highway 17 heading toward Delta and the ferry terminal, produce their share of fuel calls and flat tires. Both are fast roads with limited places to stop safely. If something happens on either, get as far onto the shoulder as you can, keep everybody out of the vehicle and behind the barrier, and give us the nearest exit number rather than trying to describe the location.
Fleet and commercial
Surrey has a great deal of light industrial and warehousing, particularly around Port Kells, Campbell Heights and the Newton industrial blocks. Those yards are where most of our Surrey fleet wash enquiries originate, and weekly scheduled work out there is straightforward to plan even though emergency response to the same address is a longer trip.
